Developing and writing a major work.

A collaborative effort is just that. Two or more people working synergistically, bringing their talents and expertise to the table for an intensive project, such as a book. From the writer's side, the collaboration entails creating original copy, weaving a client's research, industry concepts and often complex material into a compelling, marketable read.

Typically, the creative process involves in-depth interviews and brainstorming sessions with the client to bridge understanding, triggering an opportunity for us to share constructive suggestions along the way. Drafts ping-pong between the client and us until the work accurately reflects the client's vision. To ensure the highest standard and consistency, Ann Castro LLC's services also include final edits, proofs and galley reviews.

Sometimes the term "literary collaborator" is interchanged with a more commonly known label: ghostwriter. In the purest sense, the term "ghostwriter" occurs when the writer remains anonymous.

Literary collaborations (or ghostwriting) projects will only be accepted with guaranteed specific name-recognition placement.
